- Enquiries via form or email: up to 24 months after the last contact, unless the enquiry leads to a customer relationship
- Technical log data: 1 month
- Cookies: in accordance with the duration specified in the table in section 5

Kaukus' primary infrastructure is located within the EEA (Germany and Finland via Hetzner). Some third-party tools may involve transfers of personal data to countries outside the EEA.
Where such transfers occur, we ensure that there is a valid transfer basis under GDPR articles 45–47, typically the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Kaukus has established technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, deletion and disclosure. These include access management, encryption of data in transit, backups and regular risk assessments.
