Is this the official Nextcloud? add
Yes. The software is the same Nextcloud published by Nextcloud GmbH in Germany, delivered in a Norwegian edition. Kaukus is an official Nextcloud partner that hosts, operates and supports it for Norwegian customers.
What does the Norwegian edition mean? add
Interface, app names, documentation and support in Norwegian, and a setup adapted for municipalities, county councils, public agencies and larger businesses.
Where is our data stored? add
That is your choice. As a cloud service, Kaukus runs the solution on European infrastructure. Alternatively we set it up in your own data centre or in a data centre where you rent capacity. The location is documented in the data processing agreement.
Do we have to switch everything at once? add
No. Nextcloud is modular. Most organisations start with Files, move on to Office, and bring in calendar, contacts, mail and other apps over time.
Can we migrate from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace? add
Yes. We plan and run the migration with you, from SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, Office 365 and Gmail. Most organisations run both platforms side by side for a short period before switching.
What does it cost? add
The price depends on the number of users, the delivery model and which apps you adopt. Most organisations save a significant amount compared with their current licences. Get in touch and we will prepare a quote for you.
